Irene Petrelli

Irene Petrelli specializes in investment treaty arbitration, international commercial arbitration and public international law disputes. She has represented sovereign States and State-owned entities in connection with international arbitrations under the leading institutional and ad hoc arbitration rules, including those of ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC, and CAM. Her cases have involved a wide range of sectors, including energy (oil & gas and power projects), taxation, banking, and telecommunications for clients in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia. Irene also worked as teaching assistant in international arbitration at Roma Tre University and as research assistant at the School of International Arbitration of the Queen Mary University of London.
