Pedro Arcoverde

Counsel at the ICC International Court of Arbitration

Pedro Arcoverde is Counsel of the Swiss/Italian team at the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris since March 2021. He is an international arbitration and litigation attorney qualified to practice in Paris (Avocat à la Cour) and Brazil (OAB/PE). Before joining the ICC in 2015, where he previously worked as Deputy Counsel in Paris and New York, he trained with the international arbitration departments of Dechert and Hogan Lovells and with a major French energy company in Paris. He has a degree in law from the Federal University of Pernambuco (Recife, Brazil) and a master’s degree with honors in international economic law, with focus on international dispute resolution, from Sciences Po (Paris, France). He teaches dispute resolution at Sciences Po and regularly publishes articles relating mainly to international commercial arbitration.
