I subscribed to the Certificate shortly after graduating in July 2019, just a few weeks into my legal traineeship in a boutique law firm focused on international arbitration. I wanted to join a program which would provide me a solid academic basis as well as a practical insight, in order to start off with the right foot. The Certificate served this purpose excellently. Even though I did not have a specific background on international commercial arbitration, I managed to follow all classes and learn both the basics and some of the insiders’ tricks.
What I perhaps treasured the most, however, was the possibility to engage with the speakers not only during their sessions, but also in more informal occasions, such as during lunchtime or coffee breaks. That offered me the inestimable chance to have one-to-one conversations with both Italian and international leading professionals in the field, and made the Certificate a program which I would recommend even to more experienced practitioners.
