Dan Harris
Principal at The Brattle Group
Dan Harris has more than fifteen years of experience as expert in valuation, quantification of damages, and the economics of gas and electricity markets. He has been retained by major law firms and their clients to testify on damages and quantum in international arbitration proceedings in a variety of forums in disputes involving oil and gas assets and services and energy infrastructure. He also provides advice in gas contract disputes during both the negotiation and arbitration phases and has working experience of the upstream oil and gas sector. Dan has been recognized as one of the world’s leading arbitration experts in Global Arbitration Review’s Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration 2018. He is a regular speaker at conferences, and lectures at the Florence School of Regulation. Prior to joining The Brattle Group in 2002, he worked for Shell for five years in a variety of roles. He holds Masters degrees in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, London, and in Economics from the London School of Economics.
