Cristiano de Sousa Zanetti is a Professor of Private Law at University of São Paulo, Brazil. He has served either as chairman, co-arbitrator, sole arbitrator or legal expert in over 200 domestic and international arbitrations before institutions such as ICC, CAM-CCBC, LCIA, CIAM, Swiss Arbitration Centre, and CCL. In 2014, he founded Cristiano Zanetti Advogados. He is vice-chair of the ICC Global Commission on Arbitration and ADR and serves on the board of directors of “Comitê Brasileiro de Arbitragem – CBAr”. He is also a member of the ICC World Business Institute, International Bar Association (IBA), International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA), and Club Español e Iberoamericano de Arbitraje (CEIA). Author of several works on contract law and arbitration, he holds an LL.M from the University of São Paulo, an LL.M. from Università di Roma Tor Vergata, an S.J.D and a professorship from the University of São Paulo. He speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish, and Italian.
