Maria Beatrice Deli is Professor of International Law at Universitas Mercatorum in Rome. As counsel, she is founding member of DeliSasson since January 2023. She gained an extensive experience in a wide range of corporate and commercial disputes across a variety of industries. She frequently acts as sole arbitrator, chair or co-arbitrator in both ad hoc and institutional arbitration proceedings, also under the ICC Rules of Arbitration with seat in different countries. In 2011 Maria Beatrice was appointed as Secretary General of the Italian Association for Arbitration (AIA), and from 2013 to 2021 she was Secretary General of ICC Italy. She is in the list of CAS ADD arbitrators. Member of the ICC Italy Commission on Arbitration and ADR, she is a founding member of ArbIt (the Italian Forum for Arbitration and ADR) and a member of the editorial board of the law reviews “Rivista dell’Arbitrato” and “Diritto del Commercio Internazionale”.
