Elena Fontanelli is an International Arbitration Associate Lawyer at BonelliErede in Milan since 2022. She was formerly Deputy Counsel of the Swiss-Italian team at the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris, where she supervised over 250 arbitration proceedings. She served as Research Associate at the International Arbitration Institute of the University of Miami where she also pursued an LL.M. in International Arbitration. She is a Co-Chair of ArbIt (the Italian Forum for International Arbitration and ADR) and a Co-Chair of the Publication Taskforce of RAI (Rising Arbitrators Initiative). She is a lecturer at Université Paris 1 Panthéon – Sorbonne. She is specialized in international arbitration with focus on commercial and investment treaty disputes in the public and private sectors, ranging from construction to oil & gas, environment, and manufacturing. She is admitted to the Rome Bar, and she speaks English, French and Italian.
