Alberto Fortún co-leads the international arbitration practice group at Cuatrecasas. He represents private investors against public authorities, particularly in the MENA and Latin America regions. He has ample experience in resolving commercial disputes relating to energy projects, joint ventures, engineering, and construction. He has acted as arbitrator under the ICC, LCIA and Madrid Arbitration Court. He is a listed arbitrator in the ICDR roster of the AAA and the Dubai International Arbitration Center. Alberto is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and approved faculty. He is also an associate lecturer in the Master of International Law and Sports Law at the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE). He is a member of the LCIA, AIEN, ABA (International Law Section). He is also a member of Georgetown University’s European Law Advisory Board. He regularly publishes on international arbitration.
