Raëd Fathallah is a Partner in Bredin Prat’s International Arbitration Group. He specializes in commercial and investor-state arbitrations and has acted, over the past 25 years, in over 200 cases (both as counsel and arbitrator) across a variety of business sectors, governing laws, and jurisdictions under the major institutional rules (ICSID, ICC, LCIA, DIAC,  SIAC and UNCITRAL Rules). Raëd has particular expertise in acting in arbitrations involving sovereign States and State-owned entities and has acted in dozens of Investor-State disputes (including ICSID) both as lead counsel and arbitrator. He is a member of various arbitration panels and committees, including the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators and Conciliators and has recently served as Vice President of the LCIA. In January 2014, he was awarded the prestigious biennial ASA Prize for Advocacy in International Arbitration. His working languages are Arabic, French, and English.
