Saadia Bhatty is a Partner and Co-head of the International Dispute Resolution team at Gide in London. A dual-qualified (New York/Paris) lawyer, she specializes in international arbitration and public international law, with extensive experience advising and representing states, state entities, and private companies in complex cross-border disputes. Her practice focuses on commercial and investment arbitration, particularly in the energy, oil and gas, and construction sectors across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.  She also acts as an arbitrator and serves as a member of ICC UK’s International Arbitration Committee. Her experience further includes advising governments on broader public international law matters, including treaty drafting, and representing them in proceedings before the ICJ. A graduate of Harvard Law School, Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University, and École Normale Supérieure, she regularly teaches international arbitration at universities worldwide. She is recognized as a leading lawyer in international dispute resolution by major legal directories, including Chambers Global, Legal 500 and Best Lawyers UK.
