Eliana Tornese
Registrar at the LCIA
Eliana Tornese is the Registrar of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and leads the Secretariat. She has been at the LCIA since November 2015 and spent 5 years as Deputy Registrar before her promotion to Registrar. She represents the LCIA at conferences and regularly teaches on the subject of international arbitration at Kings’ College in London and Leiden University in the Netherlands. Prior to the LCIA, she worked at the ICC, where she spent three years as Counsel in charge of the case management team handling arbitration matters related to Western Europe. Before that, Eliana spent seven years in the international arbitration practice at BonelliErede in Milan. She holds a dual degree in law from the Sorbonne University in Paris and LUISS University in Rome, and an LLM in European Law from the College of Europe in Belgium. In 2009, she was a visiting scholar at Columbia Law School. She obtained an MBA from LSE in 2023.
