Sarah Vasani is Founding Director at Vasani International Arbitration Ltd. Previously, she was Co-Head of International Arbitration at CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP, a role that covered the UK, Central and Eastern Europe, the UAE, Singapore, Turkey, China, Brazil and Mexico. She was also head of the firm’s investor-state dispute resolution practice. She is a seasoned international arbitration lawyer specializing in both international commercial arbitration and investor-state disputes, with experience of proceedings before all key arbitral institutions including the LCIA, DIFC-LCIA, ICC, ICDR, SIAC, HKAIC, SCC, ICSID, and of arbitrations conducted under the UNCITRAL Rules, and foreign investment laws. She currently represents the US on the ICC Court for the 2024–2027 term and serves on the LCIA’s steering committee for equity, diversity and inclusion. She is dual-qualified in England and Wales and the U.S. (Texas and Washington D.C.), is a Solicitor-Advocate of the Higher Courts of England and Wales, and works in both English and Spanish.
