Benedetta Mauro is a Ph.D. candidate in Private Law at Roma Tre University Law Department, where she is undertaking research on international commercial contracts supervised by Prof. Giacomo Rojas Elgueta. Benedetta also assists Prof. Giacomo Rojas Elgueta in his capacity as arbitrator, including as secretary of arbitral tribunals. Previously, she worked at D|R Arbitration & Litigation, an Italian boutique law firm focused on international commercial and investment arbitration, as well as commercial litigation. She was admitted to the Rome bar in 2022. Before graduating with honors at LUISS Guido Carli (Rome, Italy) in July 2019, she was an oralist at the Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition and an exchange student at the Universidad de Belgrano (Buenos Aires, Argentina). She is a member of Young ICCA and AIA-ArbIt-40, and she is fluent in Italian, English, and Spanish.
